Founder’s Journey

Early Lessons

Saloni’s journey into finance began with a childhood lesson from her grandmother. Every Sunday, she would stack coins and save diligently in piggy banks, teaching Saloni the value of money and the importance of saving from a young age.

First Spark

At the age of 17, In September 2007 Saloni took her first step into the financial world. Coincidentally, on her first day at work, she witnessed the Sensex hitting a life high of 15 thousand mark, igniting her passion for finance.

Education

Saloni graduated from Narsee Monjee College in 2010 and took hands-on experience in capital markets for 3 years.

Professional Experience

With her education in hand, Saloni delved into the finance industry, accumulating over 17 years of diverse experience in wealth management, investment banking, financial advisory, startup consultancy and portfolio management services (PMS).

Founding Green Shoots Wealth

In 2017, Saloni founded GreenShoots Wealth, driven by her lifelong connection with money management and savings. Her vision for Green Shoots Wealth extended beyond providing financial services; she aimed to empower individuals, especially women and youth, through financial literacy and smart money management.

Supporting Entrepreneurs

Recognizing the potential of startups to effect change, Saloni immersed herself in supporting entrepreneurs through Mantraa Advisory for 8 years. As a consultant, she provided invaluable guidance on securing funding and developing effective business strategies, nurturing the dreams of budding entrepreneurs.

Saloni’s definition of success transcends mere financial achievements. It’s about making a meaningful impact on people’s lives. After pursuing her dream of obtaining an MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode. She is now on a path to aid women in achieving financial independence, empowering young people to seize control of their future early on, and assisting individuals in retiring with dignity.
